Songs that put me in an instant Good Mood

IN Philosophy & Spirituality

One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to “Find 5 songs that will put me in a good mood, instantly” and be able to have access to them wherever I am, so that I could have a “switch” to lift my mood within minutes if I happen to get a little sensitive or negative about life’s little tests.

I’m not talking about my “fave” songs, but tunes that can make me crack a smile or get me up and moving, no matter how I might be feeling :)

Here’s the list I came up with so far:

  • Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke (Lyrics are a little dodgy but love the beat!) (1)
  • Swing (Joel Fletcher Remix) by Savage and Joel Fletcher (2)
  • Fuck You by Cee Lo Green (Love this song, so groovy) (3)
  • One More Night by Maroon 5 (4)
  • Shooting Stars by Bag Raiders (because it instantly reminds me of the #SaltyRain performance which gets me smiling immediately) (5)

Just added these to my ipod as well cos they make me feel good:

Older songs that still put me in a good mood:

What are your “mood lifting” songs?
