Still pretty uninspired to make meals lately. Must be the weather. Feeling run-down the past 2 days. Can definitely blame my diet on that. McDonalds last 2 days and a bag of Easter Eggs… and lots of coffees. Miserable weather. Windy, cold, rainy. Yuck. I even had McDonalds this morning through lack of ingredients, organization and motivation. This week’s mission (after today’s slip) is to try and avoid fast-food or at least make healthier choices if I’m stuck away from a juicer/blender.

Today I had work in the morning, and peak hour traffic to contend with on wet roads with an unreliable car. Did a McDonalds run on the way to work and went grocery shopping after work (so hopefully the rest of the week will look a lot more healthier than last). I have an ear ache that I can’t stop sooking about, so definitely want to take care of my health and get rid of that annoying pain because when you are in pain, you can think of nothing else, or focus on anything else.

  • 1 x Coffee
  • McDonalds – Egg & Bacon McMuffin, Hashbrown, Medium Latte
  • 1 x Small Latte
  • 1 x Potato Cake
  • 200ml Vitamin C, MSM, and Bicarb Water
  • 1 x Freshly Squeezed Juice (Carrot, Apple, Celery, Lemon, Ginger)
  • 1 x Coffee
  • Couple of Walnuts, Almonds, Brazil Nut
  • 1 x Chicken Kiev, Steamed Potato, Brussels Sprouts, Red Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Mixed Kale, Baby Rocket, Spring Onion, 1/2 Carrot, Butter, Nutritional Yeast

Update on the Ear Ache

Got rid of the ear ache eventually.
Don’t know if it went away naturally or whether my ‘help’ actually did anything. Here’s what I tried:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide drops in each ear, even leaving it in the ‘sore’ ear for about 10 minutes whilst lying down (which usually works 100% of the time, within minutes, but didn’t seem to have any effect at all this time)
  • Oil Pulling and Activated Charcoal teeth cleaning – just trying to draw out toxins.
  • Eating the healthy dinner (getting some nutrients in the ol` system), the veggies only being ‘lightly’ steamed (still crunchy)
  • Heatpad under the ear whilst listening to energy-healing youtube videos for 3 hours.
  • Visualizing a “healing room”.. yeah.. I cannot really visualize “on command”, so I couldn’t do it.
  • Olive Leaf Extract

So yeah the heatpad thing seemed to work.
Or maybe just the “passing of time” and the “resting”.
I don’t think the energy healing youtube videos did anything (unlike with some podcasts and healings I’ve actually ‘felt’ changes within my own body). I felt absolutely nothing when listening to any of the videos. One thing is certain, if you are in pain, you can think of nothing else except that pain. You can’t concentrate or focus on anything else. Removal of pain in your life is paramount to living a life of joy.. nothing removes the joy faster from your life than having a pain. I was even mad with things at work, mad at people on the roads, & annoyed at people sharing diet information that I feel are ‘untruths’ on facebook lol, I was just “not in a positive” place when I was in pain.

Chicken Kiev, Steamed Veggies, AvocadoPasta Bolognaise, Steamed Veggies, Avocado
At home today, should be still trying to get rid of my possessions, but have managed to waste the past 3 hours on doing nothing (researching laptops). Very much procrastinating at the sheer amount of work I’ve got to achieve over the next 2 days. Sigh.. wish I could get super-motivated.

Damn, I thought I had 2 days to get through all this possession-sorting and selling, but I got called in for a full day of work tomorrow.. so yeah, I wish I had’ve got more motivated sooner in the day. Managed to go through every box in the garage, but still have an absolute boat load to do before Sunday. Ugh, and working every day including Sunday means I’m in for a very productive week – no matter how tired I am :)

Guess I should up the juices this week too. And pre-make a green smoothie for the 6.30am start tomorrow so that I can avoid a McDonalds run… sigh…

  • 2 x Coffee’s
  • Walnuts, Almonds, Brazil Nuts
  • Chicken Kiev, Kale, Carrot, Broccoli, Spring Onion, Chat Potato, Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, Avocado

Right, so 11pm (Wed) and I forgot to make the green smoothie while everyone was still awake, so I had to think outside of the box for my 6.30am start tomorrow. Decided to soak some oatmeal in water over night and maybe I can heat it a little in the morning to have before work.

Freshly Squeezed Juice

Work day and Jay’s “Fake” birthday party (long story).

  • 1 x Coffee
  • 1 x Small Latte
  • 1 x Freshly Squeezed Juice (Carrot, Apple, Celery, Lemon, Ginger)
  • 350ml Vitamin C + Bicarb Water
  • 1 x Potato Cake

And then I gate-crashed the fake party on the way home from work.. and found myself at a banquet of delicious temptations, of which I helped myself to 2 servings:

  • Saffron Rice
  • Beef Rendang
  • Russian Potato Salad
  • Beetroot Salad
  • BBQ Chop
  • Chilli, Nandos Sauce & Aioli
  • Spicy Chicken
  • Trifle, Angry Birds Birthday Mudcake, Rainbow Smarties Birthday Cake

And now I can’t move :) But I’m *Happy*.

  • Lots of glasses of water tonight, don’t even remember

Plus everyone at the party hasn’t seen me since I was an overweight heffa, so the only topic on my table was how skinny I am now.. lol..

I hope someone else took photos.. I was on my way home from work when I decided to drop in, so I didn’t come prepared with a camera.
