The definition of an Ionophore is, “a substance which is able to transport particular ions, like zinc, across a lipid membrane in a cell”.
Zinc Ionophores (Natural): Quercetin, epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG found in green tea)
Zinc Ionophores (Drugs): Hydroxychloroquine, Chloroquine, Clioquinole, Disulfiram
