Facts change as you get more data. My view on what is "factual" about the world today is far different than 2-3 years ago, and changes on a monthly basis as more and more data becomes available. Today I want to rant about the global human-traffic system of the slave-force variety, i.e. "you, me, and everyone we know".
In 2018, I posted these questions to Facebook and FB has decided to remove "notes", so I'm posting it on my blog for my future life reflection :)
As long as we don't hurt each other, who cares what 'beliefs' we have religious, political, moral, or whatever. Something we should be able to universally agree upon. It matters not, as long as we are kind, caring, harmless. What matters to me about you, is not really what you think or believe, what religion you belong to, or if you're an atheist, but how you conduct yourself. Everyone can understand the healing and good that come from kindness, compassion, caring, giving, harmlessness. Those are the virtues of Unselfish Love - the things that really matter.
None of us know for sure that our souls are immortal. We may believe this, but we can't know for sure. So whatever we do spiritually has to have an impact on this physical reality. The good that you do lives on. Doing something that lasts beyond us. Instead of buying a cup of coffee, we could bring our own and use that money to save a life.
Today's morning pages was about choices and perspectives and belief systems and being conscious about creating our reality.
Harmony: Allowing others to be who they are and living to my own inner-truth
Life can be fun if we see everything as our teacher
I haven't read Daniel Quinn's books and I can't say that I totally agree with all of the opinions I've found online so far (maybe I need to read the books.. and I intend to), but he certainly has some good quotes that I really resonate with...
I feel like I'm surrounded by empty shells, people who never question anything, just live a bs life - get a job, get a car, get a house, watch mindless tv or play games, make babies, blame everyone else for their problems, and believe everything they see on tv, really - that's it? Why?
