This history of your world is understood by you only in reference to what has been understood by those who assign themselves to be the ones deciding for you what history should be. You don't know your history, you know the metaphors for it, you know the aspects of it, but in fact what you are doing is piercing together a puzzle with many missing pieces and assuming it is whole.
Some of you believe that the life you've lived so far has been problematic, or you have been punished by your circumstances. That is not the case. You come into incarnation with a list of things you need to learn, probabilities that you may encounter as ways to know the self in circumstance.
The lineage you hold as human beings is a very distinct one. You have come into form for the distinct purpose of remembering what you are, and this has been going on since you first incarnated upon this plane.
Your ideas of who people are, are always false. They are just your ideas and they are prescriptions you hold based on your history.
You have all become so invested in looking at yourselves, deciding why you are the way you are and what you must do to correct what you perceive to be a problem, that you invest in all of the data from history that would support a kind of self-reflection that is ultimately a reinforcement of the personality and egoic structure.
Now "the eyes of Christ" has been a teaching we have used, and it is a perfect teaching. When you witness with the eyes of the Christ, you see all things as they truly are, and that is Divine.
