While looking for a new theme for my GRN Travel biz.. I stumbled upon a few handy resources for those with real-estate blogs.. and they are all FREE to download!

Real Estate Info theme – this is the one I decided to use for my GRN site but am having a lot of trouble making things work with it, if you wish to use widgets & sidebars, may require some technical expertise. The background image is also 165k which is a tad large! However, it is that image that makes this theme look so pretty :)

The WPRealty (WordPress Realty) plug-in from Jared Ritchey and Chad Broussard is a poorly conceived piece of junk. Don’t waste your time with these self declared experts, they like to talk the talk and blog spam a lot, but their mouths write checks their asses can’t cash..

Hey gang, I just wanted to pipe in and agree with Tim about WordPress Realty. I’ve been a web developer for almost 20 years and I purchased this software for a client. Almost Zero documentation, Crashed as a result of adding just two plugins and very poor tech support. They left us to fend on our own. There are posts on their site from last year claiming they are going to document the software so someone other than themselves can actually install it and run it but nope. They are too busy “upgrading” (actually fixing constantly) I’d place their software in the “beta test” category.
Just a heads up people. I’m not the first and surely not the last to be burnt by and blow the whistle of these people. I for one will spread the word far and wide.
Be carefull out there!
