Just in case anyone else finds updating to WordPress 2.6.1 and crying because Scribefire stops working hehe..

Login to your WordPress Blog..

Go to Settings -> Writing
Tick the box that says "XML-RPC" (Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols).

remote publishing Scribefire and Wordpress 2.6.1 Login Error Resolved

Then go back to Scribefire and re-add your blog.

Sweet :)
