Tag Cloud WordPress Plugins

I was on the hunt to find a WordPress Plugin that could create a Tag Cloud like the one I saw on this site.

And thankfully a reader of this post (thanks @sob) found it for me, it’s called Tagnetic Poetry and you can download it from here.

Neat huh? Even though it’s only supported up to WordPress 2.6 – it works fine on my blog (version 2.7.1). While I was hunting around, I found some other Tag Cloud Plugins and thought I’d post them here. 

Flash Tag Cloud

This is the most common "fancy" Tag Cloud that the blogs out there are using these days.

Configurable Tag Cloud (CTC)

The next most configurable Tag Cloud is CTC, you can choose the colours, size, and no of tags.

Better Tag Cloud Widget

Choose things like font sizes, HTML markup and ordering. Sort tags by count and alphabetically at the same time. It is also possible to add a counter to tag, so that your visitors can see how many posts are associated with each tag.

Random Tags Cloud Widget

Random Tag Cloud allows you to display your site’s tags. Set font sizes, number of tags to display, how to order etc. Add a link to your tags archive page by writing its ID. Has a ‘Show All Tags’ link.

Blibahblubah Tag Cloud

Allows you to customize the tag cloud so that when you hover your mouse over the tags, the words in the tag cloud flicker with a customizable effect. You can adjust the font growth, the highlight color, the font decoration (bold, underline, italic, etc.), and bordering options.

New Tag Cloud

New Tag Cloud lets you embed a Tag Cloud directly in a post/page, in the theme as PHP code or as widget and lets you change no of tags, font size, font-size type (px, em).

Category Cloud 1.6

This plugin lets you create a "tag-cloud" consisting of your Categories instead of Tags.  It has an option to display only subcategories of given categories, or only include specific categories, and option to show @ of posts in that category.
