Dear Digsby – How I love you – Let me count the ways…

I can’t believe I’ve never blogged about you Digsby.. you are the other love of my life.. I recommend you to everyone, I talk about you with everyone, even people at work are asking me to shutup about you :) but tonight I realized that I’ve never actually written a blog post expressing my love for you! Oh the Shame! Everyone who owns a computer and uses the internet needs you… you are the greatest!

Here is my open love letter to you "Digsby".

Dear Digsby…

I love you because you let me "Tweet"…

You handle my many Twitter profile accounts so that I don’t have to login/logout of Twitter multiple times to post or keep updated with everyone’s tweets.

I love that you…

… Keep me connected to Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn

You let me see what’s going on in my Facebook accounts and even chat live to online Facebook friends, without having to login to Facebook
… And I never have to login to that hideously slow site "My Space" because of you.. *HUGE THANKYOU! FOR THAT ONE!*
…. And you let me know what’s going on in my LinkedIn account so that I don’t have to keep checking in there either.

I love you even more because you’re AWESOME at eMail Handling!

You handle all my personal and business email accounts regardless of whether they are hosted on my own host, gmail, or any other platform – oh Thank you Digsby for this.. you are so awesome. You show me immediately when there’s a new message so that I can preview it without having to login to each of the accounts and you allow me to instantly see that important email that I was waiting for.. and you let me quickly check all my inboxes instantly whenever I like… I love you Digsby, I LOVE you.

I love you because I could Uninstall MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, GoogleTalk, and ICQ..

You keep me connected to my MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, Google Talk, and connected me up to my old ICQ accounts so I could see contacts that I hadn’t chatted to in years, without me having to download any of those programs or have them "all open at the same time". I could wipe them all and just keep you. xoxo

In a Nutshell, I love you because…

You save me having to install multiple applications, and that you let me message my friends, update my statuses, tweet, and keep updated on everything that is important (and not so important) to me, all with just a click.

And the best thing about you Digsby…

.. The absolute best thing about you Digsby? My fave thing ever that I love about you? I love that you let me login to you wherever I am, and that I don’t have to reset anything – I can login to you at home or work or when visiting my family and friends and all of my settings are kept. I update you at home, and when I login at work, you are there, all synchronised with my new preferences and accounts. Aww… You’re the best Digsby!… *I feel a tear coming on…*
