Wordpress Contact Form Plugins
My reliable "Secure and Accessible" Wordpress plugin broke tonight.. as I installed many plugins tonight, I’m not quite sure which one did it, but I thought I’d see what else is on the market anyway… and install them all, seeing if any of the others cause these errors and if I find any that I like.
What I really love about Secure and Accessible is how "pretty" you can make it, but pretty isn’t so necessary when it breaks and you really need a working contact form instead :)
I won’t review them all, nor list them all.. TheDesigned.com has already done a great job of listing the better ones, so no need to reinvent the wheel.. check this blog post out for a list of Wordpress Contact Form Plugins:

"10 of the Best Wordpress Contact Form Plugins"
So, the verdict? I installed most of them, and I decided that I liked "Enhanced WordPress contact form plugin" the best – and the reason? It’s light, it took seconds to setup, and it sends me a list of urls that the visitor visited on my site prior to clicking on the contact form.. LOVE that feature!

I can style it via CSS if I want, but I think I’ll just leave the barebones up for a while and not waste too much time making it pretty.

Others I tried were:
- WP-LightForm – didn’t work – suspect because it hasn’t been updated since 2.5.1. the most beautiful other than the fact that it didn’t send me any emails :)
- Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form – still my fave but is not compatible with some plugins. Wordpress.org full of support questions from people who have the same problem.
- Scaleable Contact Form – almost kept this one in Enhanced place, and will recommend it to people looking for something that allows you to either have a nice quick easy form or the ability to add extra forms including radio buttons to customize it. Has the ability to add CAPTCHA if you like those. Very simple to setup (unlike CFormsII which hurts my brain…)
- Tiny Contact Form – worked fine when I tested it, only reason it didn’t become an option was that the others were better and the mathematical questions, ie: the random one it gave me was 19+19 – and if you have foreign visitors to your site who you wish to be able to send you an email, why make it difficult for them?
- WP Clean-Contact form – Nothing wrong with this one either, worked fine, and looks pretty basic. Also uses Akismet spam filtering, which is handy.
