What gives you faith in a product that you are purchasing? Is it about the presentation for you, or perhaps you prefer to have a recommendation so that you are assured of the quality by someone else? For me, a product has to be accessible and it has to do or provide the service that I require of it. I remember when my dad was boasting about a satellite navigation system which he had purchased on eBay for a very cheap price. He told me to get myself one, however when I looked up the product code he had given me, instead of being a satellite navigation system, it was in fact an eBook, with details of police auctions where you might potentially be able to buy a satellite navigation system.

Obviously, he had only scanned the product, and hadn’t taken in all of the relevant information (i.e. it wasn’t actually a satellite navigation system.) From the picture, it looked like what he was looking for, and from the description he skipped through, it sounded like what he was looking for, it also met his requirements in price- however, it wasn’t what he needed or wanted. He ended up wasting his money on something that had little or no value to him, when he truthfully could have used that money to put toward the product that he actually required.

When I first became a hypnotherapist, I wanted to find a website with good quality, cheap easily accessible hypnosis scripts. The good news is there were loads of websites listed in the search engines that claim to have hypnosis scripts on them. Most of them did, some of them didn’t. Some of them were simply links to other sites that might have scripts listed on them. One of the major most promising looking sites had loads of scripts listed on it, however I only needed one particular script and the deal there was that you had to sign up for monthly membership that would give access to all of their scripts. I had a problem with this because firstly I didn’t, as a new business want to increase my monthly outgoings unnecessarily for the sake of obtaining one hypnosis script that I required, secondly, I didn’t know who had written the scripts, if they were qualified hypnotherapists themselves or if they would be any good.

This was when I decided to start writing scripts of my own. As a qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner, I knew how to design my scripts so that they would be the most appealing to the subconscious mind of the client. I wrote them to include many different known hypnotic and language patterns with lots of embedded commands of the things you actually want the patients to do, also with metaphors and suggestions with hidden meanings.

Before I know it, I had written over 60 quality scripts, and now I would like to share them with you. NLP Hypnosis is Neuro Linguistic Programming and hypnosis. NLP Hypnosis is the ability to be able to anchor an action with an emotion or a response of another individual or yourself. NLP Hypnosis is a very powerful tool for persuasion of other people and creating positive emotion in the self.

So why is NLP so amazing?

Well, NLP can be used very beneficially in an extensive range of situations. Hypnosis is useful when we talk about influencing someones support of your opinion, we can do this by anchoring a positive emotion to the thought of whatever your opinion may be. For example, imagine you are a salesman, trying to get a business owner to purchase your companies particular software package. Hypnosis will allow you to create a positive emotion in the client every time you do something like – put you hand on his shoulder. Medical science research at Tufts-New England Medical Center has provided irrefutable evidence that all popular diets work when dieters can stick to them. Atkins – low carb; The Zone – low glycemic index; Ornish – low fat; Weight Watchers – low calorie.

But researchers have provided convincing evidence that almost no one can stick to any diet because of his or her appetite. So to be successful with a diet, hypnosis for appetite control can be very effective.

The Dictionary defines “Appetite” as: “The desire for gratification of some need, want, craving, or passion.” So “appetite” is eating and drinking for relaxation and pleasure.

It’s a mistake to confuse hunger with appetite. Hunger is defined as “The body’s call for nourishment.” In other words, when the body needs sustenance, that’s when you feel bona fide hunger. By that designation, it is almost impossible to “be hungry” if you are overweight.

However, it is possible for you to have feelings that you interpret as “hunger.” And the stomach contracting in expectation of being fed causes those feelings.

When you were an infant and you became upset, your mother would put a bottle into your mouth to pacify you. You would get distracted, become mellower and often fall asleep. That sequence was repeated thousands of times so that your unconscious mind was programmed: When something goes into your mouth, you get relaxation and pleasure from it.

Now that you are all grownup, if you feel anxious or tense, you crave something in your mouth for relaxation and pleasure – food!

People Also Get Cravings and Urges Because Of Conditioning.

When you link eating food with any other behavior, the other action will trigger cravings for food and a feeling of urgency to eat. This is called a conditioned response. For example: If you eat when you drive your car, you will automatically get an urge to eat each time you drive your car.

What About Compulsive Overeaters Who Eat Because Of Emotional Reasons?

A compulsion is defined as an “irresistible impulse.” One of the presuppositions of NLP is: There is a positive intention behind all behaviors. In other words, our subconscious mind will only motivate us into behaviors that benefit or protect us in some way. So in NLP terms, being fat is a behavior when it provides a positive outcome for us.

You may be wondering what the possible positive outcomes of being fat are. The list of possibilities is as long as the list of people who are fat. But I’ll give you a classic example: A person gets their heart broken in a relationship. So to protect the self from getting the heart broken again, the unconscious motivates the self to gain weight to keep the self out of relationships and prevent another broken heart.

A big secret to getting rid of your appetite is called reframing. With an NLP six-step reframe, we respect the fact that the subconscious mind is motivating us to consume extra food for relaxation and pleasure. And if we are eating compulsively because being fat is protecting us, we respect that also.

In a neuro-linguistic programming reframe we bargain with our subconscious mind. In the case of eating for relaxation and pleasure, we ask our subconscious mind to assume the responsibility for making us substitute alternate behaviors. The new behaviors must be as effective and available at providing the same relaxation and pleasure. But they must also be more consciously acceptable to us. When the unconscious is motivating us into alternate behaviors that provide the relaxation and pleasure that we require – we lose our appetite on this score.

If you are a compulsive eater we do an additional reframe. We ask your unconscious to assume the responsibility for finding and substituting new behaviors in place of being fat. These new behaviors must be as effective and available at providing the same protections and benefits. But they must be behaviors that are more consciously acceptable to you and your unique personality. When your subconscious is motivating you into alternate behaviors that provide the same protections that you require, you lose the strong urge to overeat.

As far as feeling cravings because of conditioning (conditioned responses), we utilize various hypnotic and NLP techniques that “extinguish” those conditioned responses. That breaks the connection between the behaviors, and dissolves the compulsions.

Once your appetite has been eliminated and all of your compulsions to overeat have been dealt with, you can stick to any diet of your choosing indefinitely so that it becomes a permanent lifestyle change.

Free Hypnosis Script For Pain COntrol

Here is a pain management (whoops, relief) hypnosis script. It covers all representational systems:

Use the one or the combination that best fits your client. Create your own tonal shifts where you think they will be most helpful to highlight the embedded commands.

There are many ways to feel even more comfortable, more relaxed and free of any discomfort. I will give you a lot of different ways to feel better, to change and make more comfortable the places in your body that had pain.

The latest research has proven that the mind can stop the pain signals from getting to the brain. It’s easy for anyone to do. I have helped many people, like you, feel better, and learn to have comfort where they used to have a problem.

One way to easily change sensations is to imagine the area you choose to make feel better as a red spot. Now take a deep comforting breath in and imagine cool, almost icy, air going right to that spot and cooling it down, so it changes color, a lighter shade, like pink.

With each breath in, you cool it down some more, changing it to a paler shade of pink, then cooler, to blue, while exhaling any discomfort right out of your body. That is one way that you can feel more comfort.

Some people like to imagine seeing themselves in a mirror, getting more and more comfortable, as they notice when they look at themselves they can feel free of the discomfort they used to have. Can you see or imagine yourself, over there, in that mirror, looking and feeling better than you have in a long time.

I have helped a lot of people, like you, to change the pain they used to have into a sound. No matter how loud or distracting the sound, they could always turn the volume down. Some turned it down to a low noise that didn’t bother them anymore, while many found it more comforting to just turn the sound off completely.

I don’t know what way will work better for you, that is up to you.

Sometimes you might find it easier to take your mind to an amazing place. A place of comfort, like a vacation, somewhere where you can go, to get away and really relax. Maybe it’s somewhere you have been, somewhere full of happy, pleasant feelings, soothing sounds, fresh scents, that bring you back, to a time, a place, where you felt so good, so free, no worries, no stress, just relaxation and comfort. Maybe you can go somewhere you have never been, imagining how good you can feel, how wonderful it is to be free, to feel totally relaxed in this new place, of comfort. I don’t know where your mind can take you, but I know there has been a time when you felt really good.

Your body can remember how it felt to feel really good, and you might have noticed that when the body remembers a really good feeling, that you can know where in your body that good feeling starts. Some people think it feels wonderful to move that good feeling in little circles, make it spin, and as it spins that good feeling throughout the body, your mind can begin to enjoy moving that spin faster, swirling it around. And as your body begins to remember every good sensation it has ever experienced, every sense of comfort, relaxation, that the body has ever felt, that spin becomes bigger and begins to swirl to those places that need it most. Just good feelings, smoothing over, comforting wherever it moves, because you know how to feel good. Sometimes the mind may forget, but the body knows what comfort feels like.

Sometimes, you might feel even better, adding some laughter into that spin. I don’t know when the last time you laughed, I mean really laughed, was, but I know that the mind can think of the time, a time you just had to laugh out loud. I don’t know what you find funny, maybe a time when you just knew, no matter what you did, you had to let it out, couldn’t help but laugh. Maybe it was at a movie, with a friend or maybe it was even inappropriate laughter. You know what that is, don’t you? Inappropriate laughter, where you just couldn’t control that laugh, that time, when it came out of nowhere and you had to just try to hold it back, but, the laughter came anyway, yes, that kind of laughter, that we all know on some level. They say that laughter heals, and you can feel how that’s true, now, take that feeling, that giggly kind of feeling, and throw that into the spin.

The spin that is swirling good feelings through your body, that’s right, it’s funny, when you think of it, when you realize how powerful you are and how easy you can change sensations in your body, with your mind, now. I know you can feel this good, whenever you need to, it’s easy.

All you have to do, to feel this relaxation, is count, nice and slow, in your mind, from ten down to one, like this; ten, allowing my body to relax, nine, getting even more relaxed, eight, deeper relaxed with each number, seven, every muscle feeling better, six, more and more relaxed, five, so nice, so comfortable, four, deeper and deeper relaxed, three, feeling good, two, feeling better, and one. It doesn’t matter what you say to yourself as you count, just that you know you will feel more and more relaxed with each and every count, every breath will bring more and more comfort…

Write Great Hypnosis Scripts And Sell Them

The reason why some hypnosis scripts are better than others is due to the quality of the writer. Like any document- book, article or reference, the ability to engage all comes down to the skill with which the work was written.

Personally, I like to think that I’m quite good at writing- granted, my spelling isn’t all that, but I like to think that my work is intuitive, interesting and engaging.

When it comes to writing hypnosis scripts, the art of doing so, is greatly influenced by the writers skills and abilities, both as a writer, and as a hypnotherapist. If adequate training has been provided, then the writer will know that the ideal script should contain Milton Model patterns, linguistic presuppositions, embedded commands and sensory predicates. Take the following paragraph for example:

“That’s right, he kept relaxing, deeper and deeper as he inhaled the soft warm mist around him, calming him as he watched it gently moving and swirling round his feet. With each outward breath, the air moved and his tension left him, like an elastic band; letting go. It was only when he began to notice, that something truly amazing happened…”

Do you want to know what happened? I bet you do! And I’m not going to tell you!

The fact of the matter is this, you might be a qualified and competent hypnotherapist, or you might just dabble, having had no formal training. You might know about language patterns, and you might not. Those are things that you can all learn (anyone can) but the thing that will engage, entertain and above all set you apart from the other hypnotherapist from around the block is this:

It’s your imagination and the way in which you express it. And that my lovely reader is something that everyone has. Everyone has it, and only some of you dare to use it. A fraction of you, a very small margin of you, allow your mind to wander to the depths of the gloomiest and the vividness of the sparkliest areas of your mind.

Do you want more? Of course you do. You want to conjure up the magic in the minds of your clients that would put Harry Potter to shame, all in the beauty of your box-room office. You want to take them there and back again, leaving behind the sound of the kids in the street, the noisy motor bike, the chair, their bodies their minds and their problems.

How I wish I could impress upon you, the ability to create that magic. If I could give it to you as a medical dosage on a sugar pill that could be taken an hour before food for 15 days; then I would.
But the best I can do is this. I will write out the spells that you need. These are my hypnosis scripts for your perusal. Some are free, and others, you will have to pay for with gold. Or PayPal is also ok.

Self Hypnosis And NLP To ReInvent Yourself

I am sat, writing this at the end of December 2008 I have met and talked with quite a few people that would like next year to be different from the last. This article contains a few ideas as to how you can make that happen more easily.

Many people are looking for the changes on the outside, they want bigger, better or just different results. The issue often is that they are getting the results they are getting because of things on the inside.

For example someone that would like to start their own business but is risk adverse is only living a pipe dream. Someone that thinks they are worth more money but is unwilling to stand up for themselves in an appraisal is not going to get the money. A young man in love with the woman next door but with a belief that she would not be interested in him is destined to be alone.

What you see about a person is their results and their behavior. But this is driven by things that are buried in your unconscious mind. There are many different names and definitions for the things buried in you unconscious depending on which schools of NLP, Hypnosis or Psychology you favor. We are going to just talk about a general subset of these things that I am going to label beliefs.

Self Hypnosis is a technique to bridge between your conscious and unconscious mind. It gives you the opportunity to talk directly with your unconscious and set things a little differently. How different would people above be if they had different beliefs about themselves and their situation?

Beliefs don’t have to have any basis in fact; they just have to be believed. They are formed from early child hood and are based on experience, although not necessarily your own. A lot of your beliefs are formed in your younger years and are based on the experiences of the significant adults in your life at the time. If, for example you lived in a family that was very academic but despised the rich, there may be a whole lot of beliefs that you might have carried on in to later life without being consciously aware of it. This could make you very academically successful but have no money to show for it.

By using self hypnosis techniques you can examine the person you would have to be to create the results that you want in your life. By comparing this to how you are currently you can smoke out the beliefs that are not helping, the beliefs that would empower you and drive your behavior towards what you want.

Imagine a train running along on the rails. Obviously the person that is laying the rails has complete control over where the train will go. The only issue is how fast or slow the train goes. Changing your beliefs is the same as taking control of those rails. The reason people find change difficult is because they are continually trying to push the train in a different direction. If you just automatically moved the rails to point in the direction you want to go then the train automatically follows.

Imagine someone that believed taking calculated risks were a natural part of life, or someone that beliefs they do good work and is prepared to be rewarded and recognized for it. Or how about a young man who knows that he is a good a catch, if not better than most and is prepared to give the woman next door the opportunity to find out for herself. If these people believed these things how would it change their situation?

When I first set up as a hypnotherapist, I was amazed at the number of other people out there in the world who are also doing (or trying to do) the same as me. That is, being successful in a pretty competitive field. I guess the good news is that there are enough people out there creating problems that they are always going to require people like me to help them solve them.

The other thing that astounded me, is the types of problems that people create for themselves. Phobias about hair falling out- when it isn’t, worries about using a specific word or fears about spelling are all but a few of the weird and wonderful ailments from which people suffer themselves.
