Avoid the Flu Week [Food Diary May 12]

When driving home tonight, had my podcasts playing, and turned on the Google Navigation, and not only did it actually get me home without any weird detours off the side of a cliff (or down a highway that no longer exists).. but the voice actually ‘paused’ the podcast whilst giving me directions, then unpaused in-between directions. I also love that I’m able to take photos when “out and about” now. Seriously love new technology and wish I’d had this sooner.

This week “Everyone” has the flu.. it’s going around and knocking people out left, right and centre. I’m living with 2 people who are really sick with it. So my plan – do what I can to keep building up my immune system. I will only add things that I’m “consuming” to my food diary, but in addition to what I eat, I will also:

  • Put drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in my ears and nose
  • Magnesium Oil on legs
  • Add Vitamin C powder wherever appropriate (not just to my drinking water)
  • Have Olive Leaf Extract
  • Oregano Oil Capsules, maybe just for a couple of days
  • Order Juices instead of Coffee’s at work (already do this but sometimes I don’t want to wait in queue.. but this week I’ll be more conscious)
  • Green Smoothie (at least one daily) with Moringa Powder, Vitamin C, Cacao, Maca, and whatever else looks healthy
  • Skip the Cod Liver oil for a week and any other supplements that I’m just “testing”.. and I’m putting off the heavy metal detox until everyone is well
  • Sleep more.. which is ironic since I have to be up in a few hours.. so I really should go to bed, although I did have a nap after work, so that’s why I’m probably so alert
  • Oil Pulling daily with Coconut Oil and Activated Charcoal
  • Brush teeth with Hydrogen Peroxide and Activated Charcoal
  • Keep warm

  • Chicken Tender with Coconut Oil, Chilli Flakes, Garam Masala, Turmeric, Black Pepper
  • Baby Rocket, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Almonds
  • Spring Onion, Raw Pumpkin
  • Oil of Oregano (1500)
  • 3-4 drops of Iodine (it was dark.. I just guessed)
