Quick Fix “Mapping Across” NLP Technique.

These questions must be fired at the client very quickly while they visualize that food..

Food you love…

You have a food that you love that you absolutely wish you didn’t?

  • What is it? You really like them? You wish you didn’t?

When you think of this food, do you have a picture?

  • Is it black and white or colour?
  • Is it near or far?
  • Is it bright or dim?
  • Location – where is it?
  • The size of the picture – how big is it?
  • Are you looking through your own eyes, or do you see your body in the picture?
  • Is it focused or de-focused?
  • Is it framed or panoramic?
  • Is it a movie or still?

Are there any sounds that are important?

  • What is it?
  • Which direction is the sound coming from?
  • Is it an external sound?
  • Is it loud or soft?

Are there any feelings that are important?

  • What is the feeling?
  • Is it a big feeling or a small feeling?

Does it have a shape?

Food you detest…

Now, what is a food that you absolutely detest? What is that?

  • What is it? You really don’t like it?

What is the difference between the two?

Let’s say, for example, that the only thing that was different, was the location of the visual..

Say to the client.. “Now, I’d like you to bring to the screen, the picture of the food that you love. And I want you to take it from here, where it was before and move it on the other side. Put it exactly in the same place that you have the food that you detest”. “Do you know the sound that tupperware makes when it seals? Lock it in place, right there.” “Now Let me ask you a question.. if I were to go off and buy this food that you said that you loved, would you eat them?” The client’s answer was no.

This is a quick-fix method.. no way of knowing how long it lasts.. it lasts as “long as it lasts”.. it’s a method that puts the new encoding in place into the brain, which produces the same reaction of the body.

Eg: if the difference is the colour.. one is colour and one is black & white.. you are very direct, you tell them to quickly to change the colour of the “love food” to the “hate food” colour.

Only change the ones that are different.
