Import Facebook Phone Numbers into Google Contacts, Outlook, & Time & Chaos

This is a great little Greasemonkey script (Firefox addon) that exports your Facebook Contact’s phone numbers to Google Contacts, iPhone, OSX Address Book, VCard, and Android.

Direct Link to Greasemonkey Script: http://bradfitz.com/greasemonkey/facebook_phonebook_export.user.js

You will need Firefox and the Greasemonkey Firefox addon before you can install the above script.

First Install the above.

Then head to your Facebook PhoneBook

Facebook Phonebook

Then go into Tools > GreaseMonkey > User Script Commands > Export Facebook Phonebook.

It will gradually grab all your facebook phone entries, then post it to AddressBooker automatically which will give you the option to export in the following ways:

AddressBooker Updater

Then you can choose to Export just your Facebook contacts to Google Contacts:

Export just your Facebook contacts to Google Contacts

Google Contacts

Gcontacts

The other alternative is to export it directly into Outlook, or for those that use Time & Chaos (like I do), you can download ChaosSync for free and allow Time & Chaos to be synchronized with your Google Contacts account:

ChaosSync for Google

Chaos Sync for Google Syncronize

hey i have a question….how do i make the script work?  i do not know where to put it.  i installed greasemonkey but no user script commands show up….please help :)

If you have GreaseMonkey, when you click on the link to the script from within Firefox, it should popup asking you to install it.. it worked for me, so I’m not sure how else to get it working.. GreaseMonkey allows you to add things manually but I’ve never used it, so not sure if adding it manually will work. Check that GreaseMonkey is enabled by going to Tools > GreaseMonkey and making sure the Enabled option is checked. Yeah Dan, I have this exact problem… It won’t post to AddressBooker and no menu ever pops up. However, I did find that if you save this file it lets you save and then change it from a x.part file to a x.csv file and then go to your GMail contacts and import that file, it still works fine! Also, you can use GMail’s duplicate finder to pix any duplicates you may have :)
